Risk Assessments

Risk Assessments are an important part of my Working Practice, as I want to deliver items that are not only as well made as I can, but which safe within the boundaries of what is reasonable.

Risk Assessments are only as good as what is written in the document, so they aren't fool proof, but I believe they are good way of considering all the risks and process I can reasonably think of, and finding ways to manage those.

For example, in choosing a finish for my items, and, importantly documenting Materials Traceability for those finishes and other relevant items.

I also have a Risk Assessment for items such as Fire Safety etc. as that is equally important.

Disclaimer: This website does not contain advice.  Wood turning is dangerous, this sites contains an overview of my personal methods, after many years of experience working with wood. For sake of clarity, it does not include all steps, nor relevant safety information.  Seek proper training before attempting any of these operations yourself.

No listing or photo is an offer to make, or remake an item - please see Timber Availability.
