This lovely lidded container was made from an English Cherry Tree, that was felled locally to me in Buckinghamshire. I picked the tree up, air dried it, and designed and made this in my studio using my wood turning lathe. The delicate beading on the side contrasts with the plainer top, to create a pleasing and functional container that would work well in many rooms in the house.
