I love English Oak, particularly the rare figured pieces like this, that I was very fortunate to get from the National Trust's Ashridge Estate, which I then air dried and made into this bowl. It's great to get a lump of wood and start turning it, and find that amazing colour and patterns within it. Unfortunately, pieces like this are rare to come across though!
